Gelson’s Markets BB #:113119 Los Angeles, CA, announced the departures of four executives this week, just months after appointing a new CEO.

According to Grocery Dive, Ron Johnson, chief information and supply chain officer; Paul Kneeland, senior vice president of merchandising and sales; Tim Mahoney, senior vice president of store operations; and Yvonne Manganaro, senior vice president of customer and team experience, all left the grocer this week.

“These changes are part of an effort to align our leadership structure with the evolving needs of our business and the dynamic retail environment,” Gelson’s CEO and president Ryan Adams said in a statement.

Adams was named CEO in April, succeeding John Bagan, who had been CEO for a little more than a year.

Kneeland, who confirmed his departure, had been with Gelson’s for seven years and has a long history of retail produce leadership, including with Roche Bros. Supermarkets and Kings Super Markets.

Gelson’s did not return requests for comments.
