SEG will continue to operate its Harveys and Winn-Dixie grocery stores in the normal course of business until the transactions are completed.

Winn-Dixie is helping customers stretch their grocery budget by lowering prices on more than 150 everyday items. Through the grocer’s “Down Down” program, customers can save more than 15% on average at their neighborhood store.

Southeastern Grocers Inc. (SEG), parent company and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, is celebrating Supermarket Employee Day by recognizing those who form the backbone of the company – the grocer’s most valued people, its associates.

As part of the grocer’s “Down Down” program, Winn-Dixie customers will save more than 15% on average when shopping items marked in store by the red hand on signs and tags throughout the store.

These four store openings are the first of eight new Winn-Dixie stores scheduled to open throughout Florida. Winn-Dixie’s continued expansion will include additional locations in Fort Myers, Lake Mary and Melbourne later this year and Viera in early 2021.

This process will help enable the Company to make the decision to become publicly traded, subject to market and other conditions.
