With winter hosting and game day celebrations in full swing, Uber Eats today announces a new partnership with Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., bringing the beloved supermarket's products directly to customers' doors.

“We’ve received thousands of requests for a Wegmans in the Pittsburgh region since opening our first Pennsylvania store over 30 years ago,” said Dan Aken, vice president of real estate and store planning. “We’re excited to have finally found the right location to bring Wegmans to the Pittsburgh area.”

Rochester, NY-based Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. has 109 stores in eight states in the Northeast and along the East Coast and continues to expand southward. In October 2022, Wegmans opened a new location outside Wilmington, DE, marking its first location there.

Wegmans is voluntarily recalling these products because some of the soil they were grown in, supplied to Wegmans Organic Farm by bio365 of Ithaca, New York, tested positive for Salmonella by the supplier.
