Looking at the past four weeks from November 24, 2024, to December 28, 2024, Nielsen data shows retailer alignment around apples most readily available has strengthened movement for varieties like Pink Lady and Comic Crisp apples.

Though a historically low 2024/2025 pear crop has led retailers to put the brakes on pears, there’s promotional opportunity within Stemilt’s supply of winter pears.

Stemilt’s 2024 donations supported over 50 organizations within the Wenatchee Valley in Washington State totaling $240,000.

Now is the time to not only get Pink Lady going at retail, but to start lining up promotions for the historical February promotional window.

The 2024/2025 Honeycrisp crop is in shorter supply, and the current rate of movement is greater than supply can sustain.
