STOCKTON, CA – Fresh Innovations California has announced their newest product – Apple Nachos Kits. This new snack combines fresh, tart apple slices from their Prize Slice® retail brand with sweet and salty toppings in three different recipe varieties. Packaged in a convenient kit, everything needed for a sweet, fresh treat is ready to assemble and enjoy.
Fresh Snacking Meets Sweet & Salty
Fresh Innovations California Account Manager, Jason Ottolini, initially developed the idea for Apple Nachos Kits and worked with the Marketing team to bring the product to life. Taste tests and research was conducted to find the perfect mixture of toppings for its three recipes. “The whole team is thrilled to announce this delicious new product lineup and we are looking forward to introducing Apple Nachos Kits to the marketplace,” said Greg Taylor, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Innovation.
The three Apple Nachos Kits launching in the spring of 2022 are:
- Tart Apple Slices and Caramel with Pretzel Pieces and Toffee Bits
- Tart Apple Slices and Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chips and Pretzel Pieces
- Tart Apple Slices, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and Caramel with Praline Pretzel Pieces and White Chocolate Chips
Assembly of the kits is easy – arrange the apple slices on a plate or other container, drizzle the sweet sauces from the pouches included in each kit, then sprinkle the other toppings from the package and enjoy!

The Apple Nachos Kits will be making their debut at the Southern Exposure Produce Show in Orlando, FL from March 3-5, 2022. You can find Fresh Innovations California at Booth #303, where they will have the new product on display along with other offerings from the Prize Slice® retail line. Apple Nachos Kits will also be featured in the Bright Ideas Showcase at the show. The retail launch of the Apple Nachos Kits is planned for the spring of 2022.
