LEITCHFIELD, KY) (MAY 15, 2024)Save A Lot, one of the largest discount grocery chains in the U.S., today announced its bringing a new store to the Leitchfield community. Located at 415 Mill Street, this new ground up build will replace an older existing location in town. Owned and operated by Houchens Food Group BB #:167776, a grand opening celebration will happen on May 29, giving residents the opportunity to experience a brand-new store while still getting the quality and value they’ve come to expect. This Save A Lot store is one of the 88 Houchens Food Group owns across Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia. 

The celebration on May 29 will begin with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. That’s when Danny Wilson, Vice President of Retail Operations for Houchens Food Group will join Save A Lot CEO Fred Boehler and others to cut the ribbon. In addition, lots of special promotions are planned that day and over the coming weeks.
